Comments received on the FSB consultative document on a Common Template for Global Systemically Important Banks
On 6 October 2011, the Financial Stability Board (FSB) published its consultative document on a Common Template for Global Systemically Important Banks. Interested parties were invited to provide written comments by 6 November 2011.
28 responses to the Consultation paper were received – 11 from national and international industry associations, 14 from individual financial institutions, and 3 from other firms and private individuals. Only the comments from national and international industry associations, in PDF format, are published below.
Further engagement with the financial industry, at national and international level will be taken on over 2012 with the aim of addressing the issues raised. The FSB would like to bring together individual institutions and stakeholders to the Common Template for Global Systemically Important Banks at a workshop to be held in Basel on 2 May 2012.
